Salen Bay
The Lochside village of Salen is situated at the head of the Ardnamurchan
peninsula.
Tigh Margaidh is in a peaceful woodland setting, 200 metres from Loch Sunart
and five minutes walk from Salen Inn.
There are several hotels and restaurants in the area.
There is abundant wild life in this conservation area, and season by season
many wild flowers.
Sandy beaches, forest walks, birdwatching, fishing in sea and lochs complete
some of the attractions of the area.
Loch Sunart is superb for sailing or power boating.
Our private mooring ( visible from the house ) is available free of charge
during your stay.
There are two launching slips nearby.
Cycling is very popular because of the quiet roads and wonderful scenery.
Salen is ideally situated as a touring base for all kinds of days out. There are ample parking facilities at the Tigh Margaidh.
